Yup.

Lower weight, high rep squats. High weight low rep deadlifts. Done.

Squats and sandwiches on the same day sounds better 😂

I run nSuns which does this. Squat and Sumo DL on the same day and Deadlift and Front Squat on the same day. Destroys you. In a good way 🙂

It depends on a lot of factors where # of sessions a week and total training load are some big ones.

If you are going several times a week and lifting heavy I would spread them out as they are both very intensity and places high load on the spine.

But if you are more casual (1-2 times a week) and not going very heavy, I would say it's fine
