Ethereum has .eth domains that resolve to crypto wallets
Would be cool to have .btc or .bit domains

thats effectively how ln address works.
if were talking base layer btc, eth benefits from having accounts for an individual wallet that reuses the same address, and its run by a corporation, so that makes hosting and maintaining domain infrastructure a lot easier when ur coin has an entity that centralizes these processes on behalf of its users. Tradeoffs abound.
