On Nostr, there are no algorithms to keep minors attached to social media built on this protocol.
And if a minor understands how to use Nostr and stops using all the other social networks that profile him and offer him products to buy, he is already a step ahead of all his peers.
Nostr however is a very dangerous place and potentially unstoppable if used by bad people.
Are we able to curb this?

Nostr is not yet ready for minors. NSFW content comes in your feed without searching for it. And even if the content is censored believe me 99.9% of minors will push that "show content" button. I know I would at that age 😁
Algorithms can be used for good or for bad intentions. Therefore not all Algos are bad.
Freedom carries responsibility. Bad users will be blocked and shunned by the vast majority and they will carry on in a small bubble. Most responsible people won’t even know they are there.
The problem that lives at the core of this question is this : Who gets to decide what is "bad".
I see two solutions. 1. Good filters in clients (already exists somewhat). 2. Curated feeds (also being developed).
