Okay, plumbing geniuses. This faucet froze years ago and there’s a massive leak somewhere in the 10-inch thick wall (berm home, concrete walls).

But it only leaks when you turn the faucet on. The water doesn’t leak from the valve as one might expect, but somewhere along the copper in the short run to the outside and shoots out at the red circle. A portion runs down the wall and leaks inside.

How is it not leaking all the time?

nostr:npub1yemfa47zmnjpv8yc5sfu6panyvty779vgz706ue3pugcsx8ey8xq5w3tdu that may be an anti freeze valve so the valve stem entends into the house so when you shut it there in no water by the valve. There is a joint probably 6-12" from the valve. The valve comes with a longer pipe and stem.
