Yo sim swappers are now combing through telecom breach data that includes employee info and reaching out to employees to bribe them to do some sim swaps 🤯 the protection against that? Probably nothing. Not sure if the settings you have on your account will prevent from someone from making a change on the backend.

Actually one thing you could do is avoid signing up to anything using your actual phone number. Look into voip services like MySudo and others

Sim swaps can be done on air so…ya, and having been a tech with Verizon, many won’t do the protections on their account until something happens. It’s strange too, because many have multiple sims in their phone and don’t even know it.
