a client that only shows notes that tag you (and the replies), and shows you the profile of someone from your follows who hasn't been tagged recently for you to strike up a conversation with. Instead of social media being a constant stream of reactions to random thoughts, it could be people actually talking to each other.
This idea reminds me of one I had while listening to no solutions. What about an original Twitter clone with bumble ui/ux (swipe left/right for each post)? More friction from post to post, so less doom scrolling. No more sensation of free falling. Each swipe records what you’ve seen and what you haven’t. Surface most popular to least popular- rank stack of posts by zaps/swipes. Profile weights adjusted based on accumulated zaps/swipes. Optimizes for dope content instead of fomo. Allow double tap on post to see replies, bookmarks, sharing, view as any npub, etc.
