The Art of Barter

Created to be traded, my art is mostly whimsical, sometimes serious, and quite often just odd. I offer it as a fun and peaceful payment alternative to conventional, war-backed, inflation-prone, government blood money.

As such, my art serves as both my savings and my currency with which I trade for the things I need as I need them. This means I only trade into circulation the minimum required each month to cover my needs.

Exchangeability

Each Minnaar can be traded for any other Minnaar and fractional Minnaars can be traded for their fractional equivalent.

Trade Value

With the exception of The World’s Most Expensive Artwork, the trade value of one Minnaar is equal to one ounce of gold or the bitcoin equivalent. Fractional Minnaars are valued accordingly.

Treasure Hunt

Just for fun, each Minnaar contains clues to a bitcoin treasure.

Authentication

Each Minnaar comes with a Token of Authenticity. Possession of this token certifies authenticity of the accompanying artwork.

You can view the collection chronologically or by category using the drop-down menu below. Minnaars that are available to trade are labeled as such. Selected pieces are also on public display at Killer Beauty Art Gallery in Dana Point, CA.
