i used to have an #asknostr feed until i found hashtag abuse & it was disturbing.
That happens sometimes unfortunately. Sorry to hear that.
it wasn't explicit, thankfully. i just don't want to see something worse like the content it was advertising.
It seems like this is the rite of passage on Nostr. I remember a similar experience when browsing that hashtag in my early days.
yeah, when suggested follows on primal can only get so far to start with people who are not likely to engage with new users.
i went looking for other ways to find others & asknostr was it. most of the people primal suggested, i ended up unfollowing anyway. i don't care what jack or lyn and others have to say. i prefer the lesser known crowd.
