The internet as a whole isnt private, if you want actual privacy, stop using the internet so much and stop publishing everything you do and everywhere you go online. Phones are pinging your location nonstop so carrying a phone everywhere is just placing a tracking device in your pocket. With that being said there are ways you can use the internet and phones in a more private than default way and you should probably look into the ways of doing that.

It's better to encourage more private ways of using the internet then giving them the whole don't use internet & don't have a phone spheel. Everyones gunna use it & people don't want to be tracked everywhere you go so it's not nice to give the whole spheel wasting time. Encourage the usage of orbot, a vpn or spn, alternatives to proprietary softwares & be positive about it.
We do have options they may not be perfect but they do exist.
