NotebookLM is such a time saver. Maybe this is the next Google Reader after all. Get all your "Read later" bookmarks, put it there, and go through all of them in 5 minutes.

What's your workflow for this?
Workflow is still hard because it doesn't automatically connect to a source list somewhere else, like a bookmark list.
But I usually have lots of open tabs of the stuff I found interesting during the week/month that I need to read later. From that, it's super easy to copy-paste as a new source and ask for a summary. If I like the summary, I go to the full text, look through it, and then reformat for the things I want to know. The FAQ generation is usually pretty good.
And if I have to do the dishes, I can turn any blog post into a slow-paced podcast :)
I love to pull in various simi-related related related research papers in there and generate the podcast conversation to learn about the subject matter to help me develop scientific graphics.
This is probably the coolest use of AI I've ever seen! Turning any document into notes, summaries, and podcasts was a dream of mine back in college.
The coolest part is that we finally have everything we need to make an open-source version of NotebookLM!
Iād love to see an open source version. Ever since signing up for nostr:nprofile1qqsrgyzdaheuckfksqkgxz9r6qys72zh6j46f69hyzkv4a4j4vzfj6gprkucd I leave my Google account signed out.
