Does anybody know how to get a Verizon phone unlocked, WITHOUT ASKING THE CARRIER? Yes I know Verizon has a policy to automatically unlock their phones blah blah but there is a whole crazy story behind this phone I bought to which it doesn't apply. So stupid that the person GAVE me the phone AND my money back because they couldn't get the carrier to unlock it. It is not black-listed. These big carrier SUCK ASS. Please help!

You did not tell the story, so maybe this post isn't enough, but from the little information you delivered it still does not make sense.

If it's not blacklisted & works etc. then it would've been unlocked. If it's not unlocked, this tiny part of the story just does not add up.

If you really need that to work, you should tell the story in its entirety.

Simply put the phone had a balance due from a person who is now deceased. I would think that stuff is written off or the estate pays but who knows
