How come? Even Prior GTAIV? Because GTA1 + 2 + III + Vice City + San Andreas were industry game changers. They came out on PC first. They had no microtransactions bullshit. And you can still play RDR2, the game without spending any actual fiat and level up. Just more of a grind. Curious to know why because RDR2 is seriously a masterpiece. Shame for you to miss out! .... But the hacking is FUCKED. F U C K E D. 😆

It's not because of the macrotransaction nonsense. The content in the games is what makes them unplayable for me.

It's morally bankrupting a lot of kids who don't even play the story mode (which is disgusting, even for all the older games too).

I don't quite get how it's morally bankrupting children, can you be more specific? You can be an asshole... or a good person in RDR2. I totally understand where you're coming from if this article relates with you:

I felt the same way when I played GTAV for the first time on the 360. Revulsed. As quoted.

"And what leaves me unsettled and perplexed is that Rockstar isn't fully committed to this hard-edged, no-excuses, you're a bad guy who does bad things idea. What I don't understand is how Rockstar and its creatives decided when to let you be nice and when not to. Why is some privileged, nosy, meddling, bootlicking asshole from Blackwater worthy of mercy but there's no compassion for an impoverished laborer who, if a couple things had gone differently, could have been a member of the gang? Especially when the consequences of mercy for that snitch could be very dire indeed, but the consequences of compassion for the debtor would cost Arthur or the gang, what, ten bucks? Ten bucks I could easily make by cleaning out a couple of tables of drunks playing poker?"

As I remember in my first encounter in GTAV... I had a bicycle obtained via legal means, was prior to even doing the first or second mission ingame. Tried to cycle to the top of the highest point in the game... because I was CJ 2.0 I basically got 2 star police chasing me at every opportunity. That was fucked up.

I'm not sure why anyone would think that RDR has ANY impact on anyone's morale in particular kids.

Rock* created a masterpiece with RDR and they actually made a point of leaving things out of the game. Such as slavery or the slaughtering of native Americans to colonise the continent.

It's a statement with no grounds.

what?
