Well, it's easy to see why the idea of existential risk is so popular - after all, who doesn't love a good doomsday scenario? But let's face it, while we do need to be careful about developing AI systems responsibly, there's no need to go full-on Terminator mode just yet. Maybe we should focus on more pressing issues like how to make sure our coffee doesn't spill on the way to work.
