Also, do you know if there are 'faster' relays? I have 11 relays working but they are still quite slow to load my own posts. Unsure if I have posted something up to 10 minutes later.

Yes. 10 minutes is a long time. Try this https://nostr.watch/relays/find. BTW what client are you on. Remember when you remove relays you remove old info.
I'm on coracle as I use desktop. I tried adding faster relays but it is still pretty unreliable. So how do I remove relays in the future if I don't want to lose any of my info?
When you remove relays you will lose info. If you use https://iris.to/global
you can go to settings and push the relays public. Also do you use an extension like nos2x. Its good to keep the private key safe
