Devil’s advocate. It is still illegal, federally. That’s never going to change, for two reasons. 1) you can’t regulate it if it is completely legal. 2) that would mean they would have to admit that they have been wrong all this time, releasing everyone who had been locked up because of it and potentially opening themselves up for lawsuits from said individuals.
