I wonder what the issue is.

Patience mostly I think. And using mostly whole wheat flour. It'll look and feel right, but no rise in the oven ๐Ÿ˜’

Ya, whole wheat doesnโ€™t get the same rise. I have found if you do the bread the day before and after the initial rise put in the fridge overnight that eliminated most of issues I was having.

That's what I usually do, I have no idea what was going on ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. The tsp of yeast that I've had in the freezer for about 6 years seemed to, if only in my mind, do the trick ๐Ÿ˜‚.
