Well i for one am happy that they took down Silk Road.

And it was the last ever darknet marketplace ofcourse.

Not to mention all the amazing work they did to stop piracy.

Crime free web for the win

Free markets lead to abundance.

I'm middle aged now and I spent more sats on there than I care to remember☹️😂.

💯

It cut into the federal drug cartels' profits, so they whacked him. Hating Ross is simping for criminals.

I'm glad Ross is free, and he didn't deserve his sentence; it was given to him to send a message to future copycats, which obviously wasn't fair at all to him.

On the other hand, I hate the message that his pardon sends out about America's commitment to the rule of law. Still, there is absolutely no argument that his life should be sacrificed on the altar of "rule of law" when the Dorito fucking Mussolini has already wiped the remains of his diaper all over that altar. Looks like crime is back on the menu boys! And yeah there is debate about whether drug markets are inherently criminal, but the real issue is the violence that they attract and whether or not the state should have a monopoly on violence, which most people would agree that it shouldn't, but then what to do about the chaos generated by a nation of suburban tinpot warlords like America?

That said, story time. I first heard about Bitcoin through online news back in 2009/10 the same way most people did, but the first time I ever had a friend mention it to me was around that time as well. I had bought "research chemicals" online and when I told him that, he asked me whether I had used Bitcoin and SilkRoad. At the time I thought of it like a joke and said "No, of course not", because I had used my credit card like a civilised person. Jokes on fuckin' me I guess. Anyways, the "research chemicals" were fire, I have been conducting research occasionally for almost two decades now and still have some left. And yeah, we all get Bitcoin at the price that we deserve. Excelsior, motherfuckers.
