Understand its overwhelming at first here, it is for everyone, as we are very early adopters. The most helpful things to start with is to setup a Bitcoin LN wallet on your phone - that support LN address (an email address for receiving Bitcoin)
Wallet Of Sathosi (WoS) is the most simple to setup. Just install it and go in to “Receive”, then select the upper right-hand tab, and copy the “email” address. Then finally paste in to your profile where it read “LN Profile”.
Do this and anyone in the world with a Bitcoin LN wallet can send you amounts down to about 1/4200 of a dollar for close to free. (Do not use this custodial LN wallet for large amounts)
A great resource for searching information on Nostr is nostrgram.co. Try to search for things like “best relays” “how to setup WoS” and you will find answers and great advice. And just ask, people are really helpful around here 🫂
