I went for one yesterday and it was $20 for a cheap place. I walked out and said I'd do it myself. No way I'm giving up $30 in sats for a haircut I need every two weeks.

I hear you. I've been boycotting to get a cut for like 6 months. Prices went from ~15 EUR (two years ago) to 25-40 EUR and that's basically for a clipper cut. Though I have a cheap clipper, it sucks. Thinking about getting a professional one even if that costs a bit more. They last years.

But yeah, it's not worth it any more. Not for that price with my hair.

This is exactly my situation. I do a simple 2 clipper cut on my sides and 4 on the top. I'm in and out in 10 mins top. Just not worth that kind of money for something I could do myself, especially considering the only thing that sees me most days is my computer monitor.
