Yeah that's the better version of the stock AMD wraith cooler. It's barely enough cooling for that CPU so I've never overclocked it. It ran for 3.5 years pretty much 24/7 but you should expect 5+ years out of it.

Thats brutal. I dont think ive ever replaced a CPU fan other then those on a raspberry pi. Hope the CPU itself is unharmed.

Should be fine. It shut down sometime last night probably because the CPU overheated. A few minutes over 100C won't destroy it. Wouldn't start this morning because the CPU fan didn't turn so the BIOS presented an error screen.
