The only way this is “not a devaluation” is if every person in the country has free and immediate and easy access to dollars at the black market rate.

Yes. Perfection is always the answer.

Bitcoin is the answer, ultimately

As a baselayer for a civilisation not built on lies and deception. Yes. It becomes harder for collectivists to dominate the politics and thus politics get a less prominent place in the everyday lives of humans. They can focus more on work, close relations and voluntary cooperation and transactions with others.

But I’m not so sure about the inevitability of the process to result in a Bitcoin standard. Too many unknown unknowns is my gut feeling. Hope I’m wrong.
