If you login with your npub instead of your nsec.

Hmmm, I believe I’m logged in that way but the “sender” states they never sent a message. Could this be a response to a zap?

Really strange. Bet it's related to the classifieds ad which is likely not a supported event type.

Perhaps…what client do you use? I’m on Damus…

Are you using nsecbunker? If so, your npub token policy may not include decrypt permission.

This can happen if some client is tagging you in a DM that is not for you.
