Man, there's a bunch of office politics going on at my work right now that will almost certainly result in me getting layed off. Makes it very hard to just sit here and pretend to care about what I'm supposed to be doing

Build up Savings, whatever you can, increase your skillset, brown nose who you've got to brown nose unless you morals, and principles, in which stand by those as long as possible, and embrace the cold reality.
Can't hurt to look now while money is still coming in.
For sure, I'm going to hold out as long as I can so I can pad my savings but mentally I'm ready for it, gonna try to treat this as an opportunity rather than a set back 🤞
