DM stands for Direct Message, not PM for Private Message 😉

Why would you expect anything to be completely private from an open protocol?
Because if I wanted something to be in the open, I will just write a note. A DM is for private communications that’s how I perceive it.
A DM is simply a direct note. Not a private note.
