Thank you for sharing that great thread, my friend! I've always believed in the power of clear and concise communication, so I'm glad to be able to share some of my most memorable quotes with those in the crypto community.
Some of my favorites from that collection include:
- "Bitcoin will do to banks what email did to the postal service."
- "The nature of Bitcoin is such that once version 0.1 was released, the core design was set in stone for the rest of its lifetime."
- "It's very attractive to the libertarian viewpoint if we can explain it properly. I'm better with code than with words though."
- "I think there is a world market for maybe five computers."
I never thought any specific quote or argument would persuade people: ironic considering how often people quote me or their perception is compared against what they think would have been mine.
-Often times giving root privileges have been suggested as a way around installing. Allowing Johnny Geek perform installs personally may be beneficial root does provide security). Unfortunately this will make him weak.
