You can literally ask John or the pubky team for an invite and they will give you one… permissionless protocols do not equate to permissionless coercing of server space
There are hardware limitations in p2p networks and it’s expensive af to host a server
Access codes bottleneck bad actors that would destroy the protocol instantly by coercion of hardware space
Nostr is built off of relays and TR L1s… the only reason this is possible is bc there was an early Satoshi era where people built nodes
Just like what will happen with the execution of pubky… its literally no different
You’re just farther down the line and able to piggy back off of 14 years of early development work that you didn’t see take place under the hood
