they specifically gave a timetable on it, but we only recently acquired the science to be able to actually decode the meaning of these "signs" and they are coming very soon, next year 25 june for example, is described in an ancient hindu text that dates back at least 2500 years, and numerous apocryphal texts that were excluded, and in some cases aggresively excluded from the canon of the christian bible give many pieces of information that you can understand when you start to get the bigger picture put together
no, the earth is going to burn, even the "gods" can't change this fate of our planet, the upcoming geomagnetic disaster and meteor storm and solar storm are going to nearly sterilise this planet, and even people burrowed deep, even probably kilometers into the earth with many supplies, won't survivive the epic destruction that is scheduled by the motion of the cosmos around us
the level of advancement that this clade of our ancestors have in their hands is inestimable... you can find many accounts of the power they have, and the most famous incident related to the shooting down of one craft over Roswell, New Mexico, and there is videos, that they have tried to smear with the glaze of disinformation but those are our ancestors, and they have been working on a project, that they long promised, to come back and collect who was worthy of saving, and let the rest burn
we get to go out into the heavens, and join whatever colony, outpost, or central district of their civilization that we feel drawn to and their insight shows we can help with
