These things seem awesome, but I don’t want to invest the time to learn it 😂

I’m already trying to learn Ableton and a new synth

Good to see you Metal Face! It’s been a while.

Which synth are you learning? Hardware or software?

Elektron sequencer isn’t that bad to get into honestly. It’s really immediate for the basics. For the triggers and parameter locks, there’s always tons of ressources online (like loopop videos, cuckoo for example). Definitely takes a while to master though. Very complex. I learn something every time I play around with it

You too friend! I think I just got so turned off from all social media around the elections, and then never got back on it. I’ve been slowly peeping around nostr again finally.

I picked up a used UDO Super 6, it is a beast. +1 on the loopop videos, they are always so thorough.

I’ll probably hold off on getting a hardware sequencer for a while. I’ll learn to do that stuff in Ableton first. I used to be very good with Sibelius notation software, but it’s been a lot of years now since I was using it regularly.

Cool studio! Would love to hear some of your stuff

I’m using the RYTM mk2 (best analog drum machine in the game) and Four mk2 (analog synth with 4 voices). Both have the elektron sequencer built-in. Just like the other Elektron boxes

Sick 🤙

I actually have the Arturia Drum Brute Impact but have hardly used it.

I’m a lifelong player but just getting into home studio stuff. I have all the gear, just need to commit to learning Ableton better and laying some stuff down. I just picked up Addictive Drums recently.

Lots of knobs on the drum brute. Great for playing it live

Can’t zap you for some reason

My Zeus wallet closed my channels and I believe Phoenix still doesn’t support NWC :(

Need to get some other wallet set up. I’m not interested in managing my own channels, so ideally something like the Phoenix model
