My newest computer is an early 2014 MacBook Air running Debian. Should I upgrade, or wait until the next halving?

I need to test gimp 3. I still prefer a desktop for image editing.
You’re doing well I kept my 2015 up until 2022 but it got really shaky for music stuff, bagged a used M1 which is amazing.
Oh man if I was doing audio or video I would be so sad 😂
Yeah that was me in 2022! It was almost back to cassette 4 track days!
