I thought about this a bit, and an idea that came up as a countermeasure to an already compromised key would be a bot that can post automated messages that the nsec had been compromised and pointing followers to a new npub. It would also be able to request deletion of all subsequent notes published to relays by anyone else.

Is this something people might want to use?

Two bots, locked in an endless battle over one nsec. It all comes down to which one is more persistent, or who is willing to expend more resources to outlast the other. 🤖🤜💥🤛🤖

The fact that there’d be a battle at all is proof that something fishy is afoot and the account is probably compromised. It’s a losing proposition for the attacker.
