Yeah we kinda all know about that and if each of us would be confronted with the reality like the person X from the "nothing to hide" documentary, the number of users of most big tech social companies would drop significantly.
But some/most people still wouldn't care and I know few of them personally.
Another thing I forget to mention is language of the content. Blogs, podcasts, documentaries etc are mostly in English language which many users that are tracked by tech giants have problems understanding it and YT subtitles are not really perfect and are hard to fillow and understand in some contexts.
