Naga is everywhere in Isaan and also in Laos. The “snake” some say half human half animal, has its roots in the Hinduism. Like many goddesses in Buddhism.

They say, Naga is the protector of the netherworld.

End of October, precisely Octobers full moon, Naga spite fire balls out of the river! A big festival in the region.
