It's literally numbers on a screen that can be created into infinity.

People still live under this old fairytale that the bank has everyone's money in a safe somewhere and backed by gold.

At any given time most banks only have between 1 and 15% of the total number of money in accounts on hand in cash.

Becides this, the "Money" they have on hand is completely and utterly garbage.

It's paper, backed by NOTHING.

I'd rather have my money in a somewhat stable shitcoin than keep it all in a bank account.
