I was fascinated by and practiced manifestation for years. I think it can work. I've seen it work. I just think it misses one key aspect; praising the One who bestows the blessings we seek.

God's word was the missing piece for me. Truth has a resonance. When you read scripture, you can feel it's truth. Scripture tells us Yahweh is the source of all good things and the one who answers our prayers.

Manifestation leads us to believe we are the source of our answered desire. It leaves out God and fails to praise Him for His love and grace.

I stick to prayer and praising God now.

Manifestation is a half truth in the sense that it recognizes the unseen realm and that blessings/miracles are possible, but replaces God with some sort of fluff like 'divine intelligence'. Never did I see any of the manifestation teachings guiding people to worship and praise the source, Yahweh.
