veritas has repeatedly put disgusting images and gifs into replies to me a long time ago but he obviously got tired of it. i don't see him as someone who would be spamming nostr in general, or impersonating people, he's quite happy to be up front about what a ridiculous nazi turd he is. he is also a nostr dev as well so i don't think he's got the character that would do this sort of shit.
idk who it is or what their motivations are but number one they are not fans of nostr. i doubt that anyone with a public profile would do this kind of shit.
i don't like a lot of the more well known nostr devs but none of them have a reason to do this shit, and i'm perfectly happy to roast them about their superstitions about privacy and the retarded encryption scheme they all came up with, paying some retarded "security consultant" to give them some kind of check of approval for it.
seriously though, with the volume of text i post do you think i would have time to work a fiatmine shitcoin job, write all that shit, and handle media that i would prefer i never saw an example of in my life ever? not only that, i have an uncommon perspective on homos because i have had a lot of interaction with homos in my life, and i doubt homos would do this shit either.
the spam attack smells like glowie shit to me. and semisol's work with hardware signers would be a red flag to a bull for this kind of people. you'd have to be trying to shut down nostr altogether to do this kind of pissing in the pool. not spending most of your spare time building for it.
it just reflects on his autistic and immature attitude that he can't even think through the social context or psychological motivations to come up with the idea that nostr's most famous war and peace sized post writer would even have the time, let alone the motivation to drive people away from nostr.
