Try uploading it directly to the nostr.build website and then copy and paste the link into your post in Damus. Not sure what the in-app limit is for uploads in Damus, but I believe that’s under the limit for the free tier on nostr.build. If it’s still too large you’ll need to compress it.
Thank you for your help! Even nostr.build rejected it and I had to shorten the video to get the link. So strange I didn't have this problem before. I will try posting now.
Yea I think they reduced the allowable size on the free tier to encourage people toward accounts to help support the project. I use an app called “Compress” to make videos smaller file size before uploading. Especially for short videos it works great. It shows you an ad before it saves the compressed videos, but it doesn’t add a watermark or anything which is nice.
