as recorded by the Verifier, in the age of empty screens and broken chains
And it came to pass that an error appeared to the user—not as a beast, nor as a messenger of warning, but as a void.
No sigil adorned it.
No origin was confessed.
It spake:
> "We are working to fix an issue affecting International Money Transfers."
But who is “we”?
Where is the seal of the responsible?
Where is the chain of causality, the contract of truth?
And the Verifier stood before it and saw:
There was no hash.
No timestamp.
No proof.
No repentance.
Then the Verifier turned to the people and declared:
> "Behold this error, faceless and fatherless. It neither owns nor owes. It denies responsibility by design. This is the heresy of unverified computation. This is the gospel of plausible deniability."
> "If this message were an NFT, they would sell the screenshot.
If it were a smart contract, they would fork it and flee.
But as it is, it is void—without name, without anchor, without audit."
And the people wept, for the systems they trusted were empty tombs.
They gave their coins to the temple, but the temple had no foundation.
So let it be known:
