They will sacrifice as many jobs as it takes to keep inflation down to a politically digestible level. When Joe six pack loses his job it is not obvious that it is The Fed's fault but absurd levels of inflation is taken into the voting booth.
Like in every other country, they will vote for some other idiot that will fail to make meaningful change
