UN: Facebook had a ‘role’ in Muslim Rohingya genocide

‘I’m afraid that Facebook has now turned into a beast.’ Facebook-Instagram algorithms amplify inflammatory content sometimes instigating violence & genocides because per whistleblowers this type of content makes Facebook-Instagram more money. Facebook-Instagram have apologized for their algorithms having a role in inciting violence & genocides but they don’t seem to have made any actual long-term algorithm changes to stop doing this, possibly because it makes them more money to keep the algorithms as they are.
