Which version do you use, play or FDroid? Push should work out of the box for DMs and zaps.

Play, didn't realize you guys were on F-Droid! Good to know as I may switch to Graphene OS soon. I haven't gotten a DM or zap on ages so maybe that's why I feel like it's not working? Are there options to get notified for replies and follows?
Would be nice to have a toggle to turn on notifications for when a follow starts streaming too :)

Agreed. I think part of the barrier to entry for some folks is the lack of ease of use/convenience that the bigger social media services have. Is it worth all the shady shit? Absolutely not, but some folks are willing to give up a lot just for that.
