If it's just one I use a fly swatter or flip flop. If there's a nest I resort to chemical warfare.
I've seen the videos of people drowning them in gasoline but that seems risky to me. What if the wasps learn to harness the power of fire? We'd all be proper fucked.
Gasoline is way overkill and sounds like a “hold my beer” moment to me 😂
Fun trick I learned is that dish soap (any degreasing kind) and water gets them every time. Penetrates their body’s waterproofing and drowns em almost instantly. We keep a spray bottle mixed up and ready to go in case one flies in the car or some other hard to swat situation
