I’ve tried all the iOS apps and keep coming back to @damus. UI feels the most consistent with iPhone. I really like @plebstr It’s the clear #2. Looking forward to seeing their updated notifications.

Same… I use plebstr for the GIF posts… no shame in my game… 🤷🏾♂️
I’m probably 75/25 Damus/Plebstr.
Yea for instance I was unable to add relays on Damus. Then I went to plebstr and was able too… which changed my whole #NOSTR experience… that is what’s different about NOSTR. We have all these clients, and more with come and now we can have a combination of clients to curate our experience on NOSTR… and still engage with the same community. As opposed to posting on Facebook community and then the twitter and then TikTok because each app is its own centralised community….
For sure! I don’t think I’ll ever permanently stick to one app because protocol offers so much and I might like a new NIP that’s implemented on a different app than my daily driver.
Exactly…. And that is so freeing and encourages development to create standard and niche experiences for users… and that “competition” inspires continued innovation…
Damus is top tier tho
Aint gonna lie i was feeling Nostur
Just for a lil bit then got annoying
Damus is as you say most iphone consistent just with UI.
Nostur has all the features, but there’s a fine line between a clean UI and showing too much data. Nostur shows me too much. Feels like an old android app.
Same and agreed
💜 thanks for the feedback!
Of course! And thank you and Will for changing the world for the better! I appreciate your willingness to listen and talk to the community. As a non-coder, understanding the “why” behind features, ux, etc. is very helpful in understanding what Damus is trying to be.
For sure and I think it’s so important for ppl to understand the ‘why’ so they don’t lose hope in this protocol and clients. It’s still very evolving and the more feedback we get, the easier it is to make the user experience better. 💜
I totally agree. Plus people love stories and you’re basically telling the story of Damus and Nostr while it’s happening. It’s pretty fascinating when you think about it. The future is bright!
