Former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen said that Vladimir Putin is a serious and calculating leader, noting that he is now in his third presidential term and effectively guaranteed to rule Russia until 2036. Cohen cautioned against expecting an imminent departure or regime change, saying he does not foresee that happening.

He added that Putin is smart, with a very sharp calculus, and that he understands and values intelligence to a high degree.
