yeah, i seem to have a knack of getting the most marginal bugs come up in everything. i might try again later, it's probably something relatively elementary.

i'm gonna be doing a lot of docker/system stuff in the near future so maybe i will spend a little session on getting dufflepud working in a VM and switching over.
