If curious, am looking for an “orphan” well in Texas that might still have a little oil left to try to start an oil company with fuck all money. A well that’s producing the last dregs is called a stripper. So er yeah, going through data and studying geology of 8000 orphans to turn into strippers. No gassy orphans either. They’d be passsed their productive days.
It’s just all so wrong unless one has a sense of humour!

The boys I know appear to have lots of funds. I respect that you’re going rogue instead of running with the pack.
I think I have enough contacts should I decide that route but fancy going rogue and seeing if it’s possible to build from nothing. As a geologist, I have a couple of hidden cards. Things have seen that I think were not interpreted right. If I can build up, I’ll go after them. Nice to just go out and try be a maverick sometimes!
