It’s not bad though. It’s a nice friendly almost endearing way of calling someone silly here. My brothers call me plonker all the time 🫂 also wally is another one. And doughnut. ‘You right wally’.
They are different. Scones are sweetened and/or flavored (chocolate chips, blueberry, orange-cranberry etc.)
Biscuits tend to be very dry and plain. We add butter and jelly, jam, or honey.
