nice work, can I use this for my holiday blog?
I clicked through it a bit,
it looks good, as a simple user I would definitely rely on the user guide.
or is it more for advanced homepage developers?
Playing with the thought to add my foss project Nitropage to Github, only a readme file, just for that extra mainstream marketing reach...
16 likes for thousands of hours of work. Staying true to foss values, isn't well regarded these days.

Thank you so much ❤️!
I would be happy to give you a tour via voice chat. The user guide is currently still in the works and probably would not help you much though 🙈.
Difficulty: NP is certainly more difficult than blogging centric software like Ghost, because it gives more creative freedom. That said it is definitely made for users and you should be able to get familiar in 1-3 hours depending on your skill level, html coding skills are not required, but advantageous.
Blogging: NP is a creative sandbox, you can create blogs in it (e.g. https://lufrai.org/blog), but if you wanna manage a blog with hundreds of posts you might be better of with a more blog centric cms.
Hosting: do you have experience with selfhosting, docker and the like 🤔?
pm doesn't seem to have worked on primal and I need an invitation link on iris.to, to do so.
In short, thank you for your offer, but I think I'm not experienced enough and don't want to waste your valuable time here. since I only have small "private" homepage projects that I use
I recently switched from windows to linux, love freedom, personal responsibility / independence and am interested in projects in this direction.
if feedback helps I'm happy to have a look at it.
I have received your pm though. My whole weekend was full of phantosmia seizures and so I asocially focused pretty much on coding in the little time that was left of it. Gonna answer you on your pm after this message here.
Nitropage was specifically made for small-mid size projects including yours, I didnt make NP for the Government and Microsoft... Quite to the contrary, you are actually wasting my time by not using Nitropage 😂. Because the thousands of hours I invested into the making of the tool, become valuable at the moment, when it actually is being used by other humans.
That said, I would be very interested in your feedback and the experience you had with the playground - I assume you tried it out 😃?
sorry, I didn't want to stress you out, but nostr is still a completely new field for me too
I just took a look and clicked around a bit.
on the playground and am still practicing navigating from page to page and looking for an overview of my changes, is there something like a preview? or would that just be the published page?
no rush!
all good 😅, p.s. you should have received the answer to your pm a couple hours ago :).
Regarding the preview: the editor is essentially the preview. If you press on the currently active toolbar button (create, write, move...), the editor goes into an idle mode visualizing the real page as close as possible. Then there is also a slider between the page frame and sidebar, moving the slider allows you to test different screen sizes.
Having a way to also preview a page outside of the editor is a missing feature (https://codeberg.org/nitropage/nitropage/issues/86).
