ORANGE MAN BAD

-a short story for nostr

I know there will be a lot of people who either don’t care or disagree with me but hear me out…

I also know most bitcoiners would be Trump supporters, if he was more into bitcoin.

Trump once said bitcoin “seems like a scam” and he “wasn’t a fan”

But outside of that, crickets.

This week however, he did denounce CBDCs. Said they would never happen under him.

And I can’t remember Trump saying too many things he didn’t mean.

He has people’s trust. He did many things that don’t get nearly enough credit.

*Had anyone really heard of how prevalent child trafficking was before Trump made it his mission to get rid of? I know some people had, but no where near the amount of today.

So anyways.

If no CBDCs, then what? What’s his alternative?

In 2024, a gold settlement??

Trump isn’t a dummy.

You think an average Jor like me could understand game theory, and Trumpy couldn’t??

He’s a businessman. And a very intelligent guy who is surrounded by some of the best minds on earth.

His son owns bitcoin…

His wife tweeted Happy Birthday to the bitcoin white paper on Oct 31…

His main guy General Flynn tweeted about bitcoin saying “it’s the future” back in 2015…

He hired Brian Brooks (known bitcoiner) as comptroller during his term…

He also has NFTs (on polygon). This would’ve got a ton of people into crypto. Aka the gateway to bitcoin.

*It’s where I came from.

Trump knows about bitcoin.

So why can’t he come out and support it?

Think about it.

Everyone would call it the “Trump coin” and none of the democrats or liberals or anyone else with Trump derangement syndrome would use it.

Bitcoin is for everyone.

It’s being adopted by everyone. Not just conservative voters - although (we) do appear to have the upper hand. But he didn’t have to say it out loud.

If he wanted bitcoin to succeed, it had to be without his endorsement.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think we can vote our way out of this mess. But I do think that if Trump gets back in, our fight won’t be near as tough/long.

Just my opinion.

It’s solid line of thinking. You articulated your thoughts very well. You’re either for the CBDC’s/ Slavery or you’re for Bitcoin/ freedom. If it’s easy for us to understand this, I’d say he’s well aware.

Solid reasoning. I just hope we get this rabble out north of the border this year. I am genuinely surprised we still enjoy a relatively permissive Bitcoin environment.

I agree that “trump coin” talk at this point provides Trump with no favours. When Bitcoin does he will because that's politics. he has been part of the system, but he didn't fix the deficit. Yes, he only gets one more term in office. But Bitcoin not in his term. I feel he has some Bitcoin as an investment and doesn't have the time to learn as we have.

I don’t understand how people can’t see right through him. He is a con artist who will become a dictator in a heartbeat if he gets the chance.

I think, folks in the US… never lived under dictatorship, so most don’t see it. For the rained eye, he looks as if he is waving a big flag that says “when I die, there won’t be elections, Barron will be president.”

You make decent points, but I actually would not be surprised if the exact opposite happened. It’s less about his views and more who he hires. He’s proven he can’t do that. Mnuchin was very anti bitcoin. Also he seems to latch onto whatever his base talks about. I don’t think he would have pushed the trafficking issue without his followers screaming about it. It doesn’t seem like a majority of his followers are bitcoiners (from what I’ve seen). Dollar supremacy still means something to these types.

At the end of the day, he made his fortune through real estate, low interest rates, and printing. He has zero incentive to promote bitcoin and would ultimately demonetize his fortune in doing so unless he has a bag.

I voted for him in 2020 so I’m not anti orange man or anything. Just my opinion.

I agree that he is a US dollar maxi. He’s said it many times.

He is America #1. America First.

Which is very admiral in my eyes.

Compare that to Biden and Trudeau 🙄 who are America and Canada Last.

But I wouldn’t say he’s a fiat maxi. Like you said - he made money on real estate. Not through hedge funds or on the backs of others. He didn’t even take a salary in office.

He understands real assets. And he understands how to protect his assets from the fiat world.

Same mindset as bitcoin. Find ways to go around the system.

I would disagree that he latches onto what people are talking about. I don’t remember anyone talking about child trafficking before Trump became president.

Would Epstein have been arrested if Killary won?

I do think the success of bitcoin is a much greater battle. But having guys like Trump instead of guys like Biden helps the odds significantly. And most bitcoiners don’t see that.

He definitely has a bag! Haha

I’m not sure if it’s that deep or if Trump has thought that much about Bitcoin at all.

He did oversee the biggest money printing operation in the history of this country in 2020 though, and has been on the record wanting the fed to have “negative interest rates” so from an accelerationist point of view I’m sure he’d do great.

Wow Jor touchy subject for most I personally don’t mind the guy because he pisses off all the other politicians and political BS which in my opinion needs to be shaken up a bit.. agreed he’s a smart guy and his distance from Bitcoin could possibly be a move so the public/political hate wasn’t washed with Bitcoin.. it’s a good point of view to think about

I feel like nostr is the place for touchy subjects because people are more logical and reasonable on here.

Everywhere else is so emotional

The trump derangement syndrome is real.

And I think it’s only real because it’s a threat. Like bitcoin.

If you say “Trump” or “Bitcoin” it immediately triggers most people. Because the government, banks, and media have spent many years telling people how bad they are.

Trump derangement syndrome is not that different from bitcoin derangement syndrome.

Never really thought of that til now.

Never really cared for what the news shoves down the viewer’s throats.. I’m most certainly not a fan of the current system of rich getting richer poor becoming poorer and the death to the middle class.. my view point is why should I hate someone you hate when I hate you all for the current situation the ones in power have put us in.. the whole system needs a modern reboot unfortunately for this to happen much more needs to break… it’s so sad how politics have become a popularity contest let’s bring back the Greek style senate only way in is through public acts of goodwill and achievements once in office you get paid nothing

Your problem is that you think the president, any president, is more than just a stuffed suit PR man.

That’s it.

Do you think the banks are under the government?

Who is in debt to who?

CBDCs are inevitable no matter what one politician says
