every year for the past 12 years bitcoin is predicted to go to 100k dollar $$. people "invest" in bitcoin because they want to become rich with $$ dollars. if bitcoin could not be exchanged for $$ dollars zero people would give AF about it. its ability to be exchanged for $$ dollars is what keeps it alive.
