A lot of ppl here aren’t very knowledgeable about how things actually work so those conspiracies aren’t very interesting unfortunately.

Seems like that’s the case for most conspiracy theories in general. Just a bunch of boring motherfuckers trying to sound smart.

There are good conspiracy theories imo.

Pretty rare, I can’t think of any off hand.

9/11?

Maybe it’s because of the generation I come from but 9/11 isn’t especially fascinating to me in general outside of the memes. I feel like the conspiracies surrounding it are like classic movies: it’s been done so many times since that when you go to the original it feels stale.

I’m measuring by the degree / probability of the theory being valid

You’re judging based off it’s show factor?

If you follow the comment chain, you’ll find that that was where this discussion started.

True. I take that as you have an aversion to the culture, or that sample of people-types

A little bit, I don’t know how to put it. They want to seem independent and distinct, while at the same time being impossible to tell apart from each other.

Yea I agree just also sorta useless thing to talk about

Maybe more interesting to think about

Flat earth is actually interesting as a scientist, you have to do a bunch of thought experiments to see how you would test it out.

It all gets tiring after a while.

Agreed

This is how I feel about religion

I think there’s a lot of value in talking about it because there’s a lot of information you may have never known about otherwise. It also makes ppl more skeptical and distrusting of the government which is a good thing.

It just doesn’t matter to most ppl

That’s true, but most ppl don’t really care about anything.

It doesn’t cure the fundamental sickness.

Enlighten us

About what in particular?

How things actually work

some even spew illogical insensitive stuff.
